Good Teflon non-stick coating, robust heat protective handle, and yet stunningly light. We got a lot of use of it, without any signs of getting tired. Well deserves its name "commercial", contrary to the opinion in one other review here. It heats very fast and the temperature is well distributed through its nice flat processed bottom. However, we have 2 issues with this product:
1) It is on the inside not really 8", thus neither Bialetti's own, nor Tfal or Faberware 8" lids fit on it! It is a shame! I measure 7 5/8", or 19.5cm on the inside.
2) The handle it a bit too heavy and the empty pan tends to flip to the side of the handle. The handle is the same which is also attached to much bigger pans! Of course, as soon some food is in the pan, the problem is gone.
But, both issues (1) and (2) could be resolved if Bialetti would be so nice to increase the diameter to make it a real 8"/20cm size! We wrote to them about that, they promised to listen. We shall see.

This pan is labeled "commercial" but is anything but. The pan itself is fairly thin aluminum, not at all what I expect from a "commercial" pan. Also, the pan is so light that, when empty, it tips over onto its handle when left on my stove. I have to center the pan directly over the grill on my stove to keep it from tipping over.
Very disappointed!

This is the best saute pan we have even owned.
It heats/cools quickly. The handle is shaped well and is light enough that the pan bottom touches the heating surface without food inside. I have had several where until you put food inside, the bottom was not in contact with the heating surface.
The non-stick coating is great, and there is a similar coating on outside so cleanup is a breeze.
The only thing on all theses type pans, is the inside heads for the handle rivets should have a coating
because when you scramble eggs, you have to spend extra time cleaning around those.
