I was really excited when I first got these. The pots are a good heavy weight. Then I realized that the outside of pots would scratched easily. I was so disappointed, but I knew they would be unsightly in no time around our house.

This is a great set. Even though I did buy the KA 11 inch skillet with lid seperately as I was able to get it MUCH cheaper than the KA set with the 12 inch skillet. I also got this set with a [...] rebate from KA, so the set ended being $80.
The pans heat up so quickly and evenly. I have only had these for a couple of weeks, but I did use them for Thanksgiving so I feel like they've been tested well. They also have silicone over the metal handles, so it makes it cool and comfortable for you to pick up the pots.
They are handwash only, which isn't a big deal. They clean up so quickly. There are two downsides to this set. One, they do 'scratch' easily. I only use wooden spoons and heat resistant silicione spatulas to cook with, and the bottoms of the pans look slightly 'scratched.' Secondly, If you cook anything with a thicker consitency, you will have to get a small brush to clean around the handle rivets on the inside of the pans.
If I had to buy another set again, I would definately buy these.

This set of KitchenAid cookware is for my daughter for Christmas, she just moved into her own house and needed a nice set of cookware to start off with. She has not used them yet but I am an experienced cooker so just by looking at this set I can see that it is well made and the price was absolutely great. I myself have many KitchenAid products and this one is another to add to the must get list. Purchaseing them on Amazon made it easy and most of all the price was great, with all the savings to go with it. Thanks Amazon, I'll back for more.

I had to get rid of my previous cookware as it was so heavy I had trouble lifting it, especially the large fry pan. This cookware is very easy to clean and is very easy for me to manage. It cooks evenly and doesn't weigh in at heavyweight. My family is grown and gone so the sizes are perfect. I belong to a cooking club and have put all the pieces to good use and am very pleased with my purchase. Thank you, KitchenAid and Amazon for offering the set at such a great price.
