Due to great offers from Amazon, I was able to purchase this set with additional pieces separately (a grill pan and 5.5 quart covered pan) for less than the 10-piece Analon set. Excellent product. I have always preferred Analon over Caphalon for the value and quality. The Analon Advanced set will not dissapoint. Glass lids, cool covered handles, and most importantly--even heating surfaces will add to your skills as a cook/chef.

This is absolutely the best cookware I have ever used!! It's heavy and durable. I ordered 2 days before Christmas and received it the next day, yes, Christmas Eve, with Free Super Saver Shipping!!!

Pros: great price, actually does not stick, heavy duty and durable, easy to clean, arrived on time.
Cons: metal part of handle gets very hot (keep your hand on rubber grip)and no saute' pan with set (bought the Anolon Ultimate pan from Amazon for $30. works great for everyday use.
Advice: unless you're a pro, don't buy the 3 or 5 qt. saute' pan to compliment your 8-piece set, they're overpriced for everyday use.

I got the order about a month.I use the 8 quart pot a lot for making soup. The sauce pans are too small for most of my recipes. The skillets works very well with eggs, not like the martha stewart's nonstick skillet that I brought from macy's which sticks every time I cook. These are real nonstick cookware.

These are the best pots I've ever had. I think the first two months I had them, I said, "I love my pots" nearly everyday while cooking. I love the nonstick interior AND exterior --- it makes for such easy cleaning. It makes me wish I had one of those ceiling racks to hang/display my pots. It is SO easy to cook with them. I tend to burn things when I cook, but it takes real effort to burn anything in these pots. They're heavy (but not TOO heavy) and conduct heat very evenly. I always handwash them (I used to hate washing pots, but now I actually ENJOY washing these!) and never use metal utensils, so they still look brand new (except for the inside handle-rivet-things, see below). In buying this set, I did have to buy some other pieces to be functional. I especially love the "Ultimate Pan," the 3.5 qt. pot with strainer lid, the 4.5 qt.tapered saucepot, and the griddle.
I've had these pots for 6 months now, and I have only 2 complaints: the insides of the pots/skillets have 2 stainless steel "buttons" which hold the handles on. They're not non-stick, and so things can get burned onto them. The other problem is that the outside rim of the lids, where the glass meets the metal, is showing rust. I don't know if it's because I live close to the beach and everything rusts around here, or if water is getting in there and not drying quickly enough. But I can live with that.
