Although I haven't had a chance to try these yet -- I'm thinking about ordering the set from the TV ad because you get 5 pots/pans, three lids plus a knife set for $299.99 w/free shipping/handling -- I wanted to write a preliminary review based on the concept and design. I'm tired of tossing out so-called non-stick teflon pans that last a year or so. And the one thing that grabbed me about these is that they have a magnetic, 'clad' bottom, which means they'll work with induction cookers too. I recently bought an induction cooker and I love it! Unfortunately, even my stainless steel pots are the old-fashioned kind without the magnetic bottom, so no luck on using them with the new cooker. The StoneDine seems like it might be just the ticket!
