I uploaded a video because when it comes to the terrible quality of this awful Kitchenaid Cookware, words alone do not tell the story! The red finish was ruined the first time I ran the pans through the dishwasher and only got worse over time. When I dry them by hand, red and black paint wipes right off on my dish towels! In addition, the pans are warped, the non-stick coating flakes off and, in fact, was never very "non-stick" to start with. Plus the pans are a weird size--skinny diameter, but deep, which makes them somewhat difficult to work with. They fit awkwardly on my burners.

I mistakenly thought Kitchenaid was a quality brand, but my eyes have really been opened! They've obviously used the solid reputation of their stand mixer as an opportunity to flood the market with a whole host of inferior products. I used to have a full set of red Kitchenaid spatulas and other hand tools, but have discarded most of them because of the bad quality. I am also unimpressed by their hand mixer--had to exchange it twice because the "chrome" trim (really just mylar tape) kept falling off.

Seriously--don't waste your money on these awful pots & pans!

I got this set as a gift three or four years ago. It still works fine, and I haven't had issues with the non-stick coating flaking off, but the red coating has gotten really discolored from normal use -- black in some places, faded in others. Also, I think the pots have warped a bit. The strainer inserts I have for the pots don't really sit flush in the pot anymore. It's disappointing, because I love my Kitchenaide stand mixer, and I really really loved this set's color. My boyfriend has been trying to convince me for a while now that these are "garbage." I suppose it's time to cave in and replace them with a set that won't look so ugly after a year.

I recieved these as a Christmas gift 3 years ago. My husband knew how much I liked KitchenAid and especially the red line of products. The exterior of all my pots have turned pink. Since a lot of my appeal to this product was the red exterior I am extremely dissappointed. I've not experienced the flaking of the non-stick surface, but I am very strict with utensil usage and everyone knows not to use metal with them... They still cook decent, but next time I will probably go with a different brand.

I am extremely pleased with my Kitchen Aid Cookware set. Each piece is very well made. The frying pans are not like light-wieght frying pans that wobble on the burner. Cleaning is amazingly simple. I just swish with a dish rag and rinse.

"Great non toxic pan" 2010-03-05

I have been using the earth pan set for 8 months now with no problems. Overall I think they are a great pan with non toxic non stick that works wonderfully and does not flake or peel off the pan. I also have a glass cook top and have not experienced any issues. The only things to watch out for with these pans is never turning the heat up all the way and never leaving the pan on the stove after the heat has been turned off (all of these suggestion are located in the manual). I have used off brand versions of the earth pan and they have not worked as well. As long as you use only wooden utensils, avoid non stick cooking spray, and wash off burnt food right away they should last you a long time.

As an avid cook I have purchased many different non-stick sets since the 1970's. These outshine all of them by far. The nonstick surface is the best ever- so effective that all it takes for cleanup is a swipe of the dishcloth. You can even cook pancakes in them without using any oil. I've used them every day for the past six weeks and they are good as new. The terra-cotta is a beautiful color, too. Don't hesitate to buy this set.

I've always had a problem with stainless steel pots and pans, so I have resorted to non-stick the last 3 times I have purchased sets. I received this set for christmas (a week early at that LOL) and so far, I love it. I've always been very careful with my sets, however, not everyone was (roommates, friends burning water, etc) and ruined the sets I had. So, now that I am pretty certain no one will be using metal utensils or burning water in my pots and pans, I decided to ask for a new set for christmas. I love this set- the color, the cleanup, the way food cooks in them. Just an awesome set. :)

The information insert warned that the pans could scratch glass stove tops. I called the manufacturer and found out that when boiled dry the enamel coated pans can melt to the glass top. Returned the pans for the hard anodized Earth Pans which are great. The description should specify not for glass stove tops. It cost me a return shipping charge.

I have been using this set non-stop for over a month. I love it - it is the best non-stick surface I've ever used. I haven't had any problem with carbon build-up, but then again, I don't use non-stick cooking sprays - I use an oil spritzer. The difference between the two is that non-stick sprays contain soy lecithin which is totally fine and won't harm you in the least, but it builds up on your cookware over time. As long as you avoid these, any non-stick cookware should last you for years, assuming you use wooden or silicone utensils. I love that they are oven safe because the handles are silicone instead of rubber.

After the very first use--the very first--the teflon coating is already peeling off exposing the steel below it. I made pasta in the pot and used a SOFT plastic spatula to gently stir it. After that there were already two spots where the coating had come completely off. Now I have used it about 5 times total and the coating looks like it has been scraped with a metal spatula hundreds of times. And no, I did not put it in the dishwasher. Not even once. I used a very soft plastic spatula and did not stir hard. I've had far better quality from an $7.99 pot purchased at a discount store. I seriously don't understand how the quality could be so poor and this company is still in business. Avoid this unless you want to eat teflon flakes with your pasta.

Love this cookware! I now cook every weekend after microwaving for years. Take all your old pieces to the Goodwill. I especially appreciate cooking without added fats or oils. A hint for onions - slice or chop then freeze overnight. They will cook quickly until translucent without adding oil. Get the square grille or, even better, the larger rectangular griddle if you have a bridge burner on your cooktop. This set is now my first choice for gifting. I used to give bamboo sheets and towels.

So far these are performing well. They are very non-stick. Eggs will sometimes leave a little in the pan but they wash out easy. Wash them right away and towel dry after they've cooled off from cooking. I've noticed that if you leave them sit for a while with food residue, they'll get very very slight discoloration which may or may not affect the performance. Overall, seem like very high quality. The omelet pan is great.

received the 10 piece set as a Mother's Day gift last year - it was good for about 6 months and then started to chip on the inside, little by little. I've only ever used wooden/bamboo or soft utensils while cooking. They are not stacked together. They are always hand washed (we don't have a dishwasher). I was excited by the eco-friendly nature of the pans but pretty disappointed by the lack of durability. I will now have to go out and purchase another set as I don't want to have chips of the ceramic interior in my food. Wasted $150 - bummer.

I've been wanting to buy non-toxic cookware for years. Dr. Mercola regularly writes about how toxic regular pans are. He sells a set of pans, but it is about $450!

This set of pans is wonderful. They are so classy looking. I did not think I would like the handles, as they are metal. I thought they would get hot when cooking, they do not.

I highly recommend this set.

This set of Anolon Titanium Cookware arrived fast and in perfect condition. Amazon is great. This cookware has been discontinued by Anolon so if you'd like a set I'd move quickly. If I had the $$ I'd buy up all Amazon has left and put it on E*Bay because I believe Amazon is the only place to buy this now. I love that you can put it in the dishwasher (so Anolon claims). I haven't because nothing sticks and cleanup is so easy. I wouldn't call these pieces lightweight nor would I say they're heavy; like Goldilocks said, they're "just right". Oh, don't go nuts trying to register them on-line, you can't. I called Anolon and they said registration was just for marketing, no need to register the set, the warranty was good.

I purchased this set of cookware after a lot of research and review checking. It's heavy, extremely easy to clean, and I like the stay cool handles. The large fry pan is huge, and the stockpot is larger than our previous one as well. It's hard getting used to the recommendations to not use high heat and not to pre-spray the pans when cooking. While we've only had them for a little over a month, no regrets at this time.

Pros:

* The non-stick surface is fantastic, and the other surfaces (outsides of the pots, lids) are easy to clean. Cleaning by hand is easy enough that I have not put the cookware in the dishwasher.

* The stock pot cover fits on the 10" skillet

* Even heating

* The shape of the skillets is great for flipping things

Cons:

* The handles do get hot after a while, particularly if you grab them close to the pot, and they stay hot after the pot itself has cooled (they heat up slowly and cool down slowly)

Other notes:

* The price seemed to vary a lot week-to-week; I would not have paid the higher prices I've seen.

I bought this set in 2006. I regularly use the 10" skillet, with only wood / relatively soft plastic utensils and it is really a terrible pan now. I do usually put it in the dishwasher (as they are supposedly dw safe). _Everything_ sticks to it now. Scrambled eggs leave a huge mess on the bottom, even when using a spatula with a properly hot pan and a decent amount of oil.

I had my doubts about nonstick pans, especially dw safe, and 3 years later I'm certainly regretting it. I wish I'd have shelled out for a nice 3/5 ply stainless set.

The rest of the set is in decent shape, as they're used much less frequently. I rated it 3 stars because otherwise it's a really well-made set, I frankly just don't believe _any_ nonstick can stand the test of time, without excruciating care taken to gently hand-wash etc. It's a bummer because I really like every other aspect of this set - they are clearly quality.

I'm just going to get a decent stainless 10" replacement since I use that size all the time.

I've not looked into the warranty, it seems like a waste of time as I'd have to go through that again in several years. By then, I'll doubtless be ready to replace the entire set.
