These pots and pans got scratches the first time I used them! I was really excited and I read all of the information about how to use and care for them. The first time I cooked with them, they got scratches (and the teflon started coming off) even though I used only plastic and wood spoons. I also didn't use abrasive sponges or harsh cleaning chemicals. Beware: these won't be nonstick for long.



I returned them for the Farberware Millenium Stainless Steel set and I love them!

I've had this set for a year and a half now and I think they are great, especially for the price. (But I got them on sale for half off!) Absolutely nothing sticks to the nonstick interiors and the surface coating has been very durable, no scratches or chips. My only problem is that the color darkened on the the pieces I have tended to use more often. But this isn't really a big issue since otherwise they have far exceeded my expectations.

I have has this set for 3 months now. I am very happy with it. The selling feature for me was the strain and pour feature of the glass lids. I opted for this set over the more expensive, heavier set because of this feature and so far - no regrets. I follow the provided use and care instructions and have had nothing but easy prep and easy clean up. Love the RED!!!

The handle came off one of the lids after minimal use (once or twice). I sent it back for repair and imagine my surprise when it was returned almost immediately - UNFIXED! Along with a letter explaining that these are sold with no warranty. Had I realized that, I likely would not have bought them. The "Farberware's Quality Assurance warranty" referred to in the product description only means anything found defective UPON RECEIPT will be replaced.

My husband and I recieved this set for christmas from my Mother-in-law. We loved them! She got us the Silver colored set that matched everything in out kitchen. We use them everyday and LOVED cooking on them for 6 months now. A couple days ago I was making brocolli and the teflon came off onto my brocolli and the silver turned to a brownish color. I had the setting on medium heat. Nothing extream and the pot sill had water boiling in the pot so nothing was burning... My husband was convinced that I had burned the brocolli so decided to just replace the pan. Then We were making hash browns in the skillet and the outside of the skillet turned brown. Nothing I do washes the color out. It looks aweful! The teflon is in tact but the skillet looks like crap. From now on we are buying stainless steel pan exclusivly. We will never try aluminum again!

The 10-Piece Dishwasher-Safe Analon Titanium Nonstick Cookware set is absolutely wonderful. I had owned to of these pieces in the past for about 6 years. It was time to replace them, so I decided to get a set. I am not in the least disappointed. They evenly distribute the heat applied and the non-stick interior makes clean up easy. I highly recommend this cookware.

Pros:

* The non-stick surface is fantastic, and the other surfaces (outsides of the pots, lids) are easy to clean. Cleaning by hand is easy enough that I have not put the cookware in the dishwasher.

* The stock pot cover fits on the 10" skillet

* Even heating

* The shape of the skillets is great for flipping things



Cons:

* The handles do get hot after a while, particularly if you grab them close to the pot, and they stay hot after the pot itself has cooled (they heat up slowly and cool down slowly)



Other notes:

* The price seemed to vary a lot week-to-week; I would not have paid the higher prices I've seen.

I bought this set in 2006. I regularly use the 10" skillet, with only wood / relatively soft plastic utensils and it is really a terrible pan now. I do usually put it in the dishwasher (as they are supposedly dw safe). _Everything_ sticks to it now. Scrambled eggs leave a huge mess on the bottom, even when using a spatula with a properly hot pan and a decent amount of oil.



I had my doubts about nonstick pans, especially dw safe, and 3 years later I'm certainly regretting it. I wish I'd have shelled out for a nice 3/5 ply stainless set.



The rest of the set is in decent shape, as they're used much less frequently. I rated it 3 stars because otherwise it's a really well-made set, I frankly just don't believe _any_ nonstick can stand the test of time, without excruciating care taken to gently hand-wash etc. It's a bummer because I really like every other aspect of this set - they are clearly quality.



I'm just going to get a decent stainless 10" replacement since I use that size all the time.



I've not looked into the warranty, it seems like a waste of time as I'd have to go through that again in several years. By then, I'll doubtless be ready to replace the entire set.

I bought these to replace a very old set of T-Fal cookware. I originally wanted Stainless, because of the dishwasher factor, but started reading how foods sticks to stainless quite easily & is hard to get off at times. So I decided to order these & hope for the best. These are heavy-duty, restaurant-quality pans that are easy to care for & I'm so glad I chose these. But one thing I would like to point out is, they are not light weight. But overall, I highly recommend this cookware set- excellent!

I replaced the Farberware set we received 25 years with this set. I wanted something that would handle a variety of cooking methods and be easy to clean afterwards. So far, the Anolon titanium set has met and exceeded my expectations. The pots are suppose to be safe to wash in the dishwasher - and they probably are - I washed the pots the first two times in the dishwasher but discovered they are very easy to wash by hand.



They look great, cook great, clean great what more could one ask for?! Well, maybe just slightly lighter weight but then they might not perform in other ways so well.

 "Not Quite As Expected" 2009-04-14

We ordered this set to add on to an existing mish mash of pots and pans we've had for years. The hope was that we could toss some of the older pans out.

Strong Points: Great coating, the food literally slides off with little effort. Inclusion of a couple tools is a nice touch (though not sure it's worth paying more for, as the tools probably retail for a dollar or two). Heating distribution is even, and so it cooks effectively.

Weak Points: Small. It's hard at times to convert 8" pot into a visual, especially when the pictures show things that look bigger. A few of the pans are suitable for children, but not big enough to cook something for a single adult.

Overall, the product appears well made, but I would go to a more expensive set with a larger selection of pots and pans if I was going to use these as my primary cooking utensils.

I bought this 12 piece set in 2006 for my wife for Christmas... I know, I know but we really needed a new set. I read reviews of many different sets out there and the most consistent and most positive and just plain MOST reviews were for the Anolon Advance. Got a great deal at $219 with free shipping! But still worth it at asking price now!



The pots and pans are easy to use, easy to clean and hold up well. Our favorite is the 12" 5 qt covered Sauteuse. The handle recently broke (the rubber) and haven't sent it back to repair yet. Will update on the return and repair. We have added other pieces and have been very happy with the overall performance. Now all we need is to upgrade is the stove!



If you are wondering if these will hold up, just read a few reviews! We make popcorn in the 4 qt sauce pot and it cleans up nicely. We have burned food in several of the pots (steamed broccoli when the water boils out and stinks!!!) and they always clean up easily with little scrubbing, even after 2 1/2 years. The lids are looking great too.



You will be happy you have these pots and pans.

I bought this set for my wife for Christmas. She loves it. She can't believe what a difference there is between this set and her old set. As numerous people have already discussed, this set cooks very evenly even with the big pans on a gas stove. Obviously very easy to clean. Be sure to get some nylon/plastic cooking utensils, as you don't want to scratch the surface. I can't say enough good things, SO JUST BUY IT ALREADY.

I have spent a good amount of money of other cookware including AllClad and the various grades of Calaphon... nothing has held up and is as easy as this cookware, especially for the price. I got two sets on sale from Amazon and gave most of it away as gifts split among my family. They all argued about which person got which pan because they all wanted the complete set... so last year I bought everyone the pieces they were missing including myself and then put all my other pots/pans in the next rummage sale. I've never been happier.



Nothing sticks and clean up is two seconds... what more can you ask for.

These have been great pans. I've had a set for over five years now and they still look new. No signs of wear at all. I've religiously used only non-metal utensils with them (wood, silicone, etc). As a result they're still like new. Even with overheating the pan once or twice they're still in perfect condition.



And if you want a good addition to the set, get the grill pan. The one that's a regular height, not the shallow one. The regular one does a FANTASTIC job cooking bacon. Likewise it does a fine job grilling everything from chicken to fish and burgers (which are still better outside).



You will be pleased with these pans.

I bought three sets of this product for my three young adult children. Doing so has resulted in their increased desire to cook, or learn to cook. They have all abandoned their college era cookware and rave about the difference in their culinary experiences with high quality equipment. They mentioned heat retention, pots 'getting hot enough', even distribution of heat, true nonstick surface, and the full line of cookware shapes and sizes.



Initially, the discouragement to clean this product in the dishwasher was somewhat of a concern. My children's generation does not fondly look on menial, housework tasks. But I have been assured that clean up is no problem; and they have not been forced to wrestle with the idea of putting it in the dishwasher...anyway.



As a result, all three have been experimenting more in the kitchen. And the outcome of that is that all three of them are eating healthier food. This cookware has sprinkled some joy in what was previously deemed a more task oriented activity of 'having to cook'.

I didn't expect this set of pots to last 46 years the way my first set of Wearever aluminum pots did, but the 2 qt saucepan-my most used pot- only lasted 9 months before it warped and could no longer be covered. I called the company, but they said that I'd have to pay to ship it to them and pre-pay for shipping it back and if they decided in their sole discretion that I used it on "high heat" they wouldn't replace it! I have a regular electric coil stove, not a "professional model" or even a mock professional model. True, I boil my pasta water on "high", as I did with my Wearever pots for 46 years, but I think if you can't take boiling on high, you shouldn't be called a pot. I just replaced the warped pot with a Calphalon 2 1/2 qt on sale at Amazon and I'm hoping it'll be able to take the heat.

After doing some research, I chose to purchase this 10-piece set mainly due to price of $109.00. I received the first set and found that the 3-quart saucepan was warped. As a result, the lid would not fit correctly and I sent that set back. The second set arrived a few days later and this time the 3-quart as well as the stockpot was warped. So I sent the second set back and requested a 3rd set. To my surprise, Amazon just simply refunded my money without my approval and canceled my request for the third set. I was hoping that the third set would have been in order but I guess I will never know. Now it is back to doing some more research before I buy a different cookware set.

I HATE HATE HATE this set. I've had them for 8 months and the teflon is peeling and the non-stick surface sucks! Everything that I seem to cook always sticks the pan even if I bathe it in PAM, oil, butter you name it. They suck and I will never purchase these again!

The lid doesn't have the little hole on it. The lids doesn't fit the frying pan either. It would be nice if it does. the pot is made in China which was a little bit disappointing, since it didnt indicate where it is made on the description. Over all its good, and easy to use. Everything looks big in the picture, but in real life it is not so big.

This cookware set is an excellent buy for the price. It is very well made, sturdy, the color is great and the clear lids for the pots are a definate plus. Although the large pot lid is not interchangeable with the 10 inch skillet, I would still recommend this product.

 "Poorly manufactured cookware" 2009-08-16

I purchased this set to replace a set from another manufacturer. I had the previous set for 10 years. The 12" Everyday pan was warped right out of the box and didn't set flat on my ceramic cooktop. I called Cuisinart and was told I could send the pan at my expense and a check for $7.00 and they would fix or replace it. I discussed Cuisinart's solution with Amazon and they graciously replaced the entire set. The replacement set came with the exact same problem on the same pan. Additonally, the 3 quart sauce pan warped on first use. It was used to heat spaghetti sauce on medium low heat and the pan stayed warped after it cooled. Someone may not notice the warping on conventional gas stove burners, but it is readily apparent on smooth surfaces.

It's been 10 years since I have the need to purchase new pans. I am a believer of spend a little extra and you won't need to replace them every five years.



This set should last me 10 years.

I love this set and use it on a daily basis. I think the only pice I haven't used is the 12 inch everyday pan, and that's simply because I'm only cooking for two, and there's no need for such a large pan at the moment. My only complaint is that I wish that everyday pan had one long handle and a helper handle, instead of two helper handles. Other than that, I love it. Cooks very evenly, extremely easy to clean, and the handles stay nice and cool. Not too heavy, but not flimsy at all.

Although we've only had the set about 6 weeks, we are totally satisfied. The set is everything they claimed to be. We're retired and prepare 1-2 meals a day. As such I didn't feel like spending hundreds of dollars on a "professional" set. These are perfect for those who need an everyday set but don't want to settle for the discount sets. So far, we have found no negatives to report.
