I needed a relatively inexpensive set of pots and pans for my new flat top stove and these looked like they would work.

Needless to say, not only did they work perfectly on my flat top stove, they also performed better than I expected, plus talk about a breeze to clean. Even if it says not to put them in the dishwasher, who cares... they are so easy to clean and put away in minutes, there is hardly any elbow grease required in cleaning this cookware.

Oh and incidently, they are great-looking too. I am very happy with this set. No complaints from me whatsoever.

I ordered this set to replace a different brand I had for 14 yrs. I LOVE this cookware. Yes, it would be nice to put in the dishwasher but anymore, anything with a coating on it is to be hand washed. I don't mind washing these by hand because clean-up is a breeze. The handles do not get hot(even the metal tips outside of the silicone). I also noticed that I do not have to turn the heat up as high as I used to just to get food to cook or boil. I cook a lot and I am very happy I have this cookware. It is pretty lightweight too which is very nice. The lids do not stack on top of each other but I just offset them on each other. It works just fine for me. I wasn't going to not get them just because of the lids. I recommend this cookware to all.

I purchased this 14pc set of cuisinart pots and pans, after many comparisons and shopping around. I was initially more interested in purchasing Circulon Elite, but I wasn't too happy with the sizes offered in the set. Anyway, I am extremely happy that I purchased this set instead and here's why...

The price is great! This is a high quality product! There are 14pc included and they are all in useable sizes, the only additional thing you many need is a 12"skillet, but I have been fine without one so far. The 4 quart saute pan is wonderful!!! And I absolutely love the steamer basket, that was a huge selling point for me because I steam veggies everyday! I am very impressed with everything about these pots and pans! The non-stick finish has been very durable so far, and extremely easy to clean. They cook evenly with no hot spots, etc. One important thing to note that makes this set different than most other hard anodized cookware, is that these are made with an aluminum core. So they have a hard anodized exterior and a non-stick interior, but the aluminum core makes them quite a bit lighter in weight to most other products. I consider this to be a positive thing, I don't need to break my wrist washing a pan. But if you use your pans as weapons, consider something else. =) The exterior finish is awesome, its a smooth hard anodized finish and very easy to maintain. Another review complained about the exterior, that "it looked cheap and no matter how she cleaned them they looked bad"... well, she's crazy!!! These look awesome!!! The clear lids are very helpful, although they do tend to get hot so using a rag when lifting is advisable. But handles on the pans seem to stay cool, no problem.

Anyway, if you are considering this cookware and are comparing it to more expensive brands, then save your money! You will not be disappointed with this purchase!

This set has everything you need and then some. It does a great job of heating up quickly and evenly, and while the handles do get a bit warm, they are not so hot that you cannot handle them without potholders. The non-stick coating lives up to the hype, and best of all, you don't have to worry about it like the old teflon coated pots and pans. I have used metal utensils and there isn't a scratch on them. They also clean sell in the dishwasher. Each piece has a lip around the rim, which makes pouring a much easier (and cleaner) process. I highly recommend the set.

I got my pots today-- they're gorgeous! HOWEVER... I read the review about the handles being really narrow/problematic, but didn't think it would be a problem for me because my hands are small. But yes, they are REALLY narrow, and the stainless steel/design makes them hard to grip-- It seems that if they are full, or get really hot, it could be disastrous. The only way the pots felt sturdy in my hand was if held really close to the handle of the base, which would be the hottest part of the pot. I'm thinking it MIGHT be possible to get used to the handles, and MAYBE they don't get as hot as I'm imagining. If they work as well as the 45 other reviewers say, then they're worth keeping, especially for the price. The variety and sizes of pots is unbeatable-- I would use all of them. Also, about half of them have the "helper handle" on the other side which for me, neutralized the narrow handle problem. I'll update if I decide to keep them and don't end up having problems b/c of the handles.

I just opened the box of cookware today. It looks wonderful is heavy and the little skillet cooked my hamburger quickly and on a lower temperture than my old cookware. It also washed up nicely. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because I haven't given it a full try yet.

Great product. I do a lot of cooking and when I moved into my own apartment I decided to buy a set of pots and pans that would last me a while and hold up over time. I bought this cookware set a while back and am completely satisfied with my purchase. I was amazed at how much is offered in this set and the quality of the cookware. I was expecting that for the price I was paying that the pots and pans would be poor quality and wouldn't hold up, but they've turned out great. The nonstick surface has held up well, especially considering that I don't take special care of them. I've used metal utensils to stir and scrape the pans and wash them in the dishwasher, and they are still in near perfect condition. I've had problems with other brands with the nonstick coating peeling, but these show no signs of any damage. The handles feel great in the hand. The lids fit perfectly on the pots and pans. All around, this is great cookware and especially when you consider the price. You can't find a better more affordable set out there. If you're looking to stock your kitchen with a set of good quality nonstick pots and pans, I'd consider buying these.

I purchased this set several months ago and use it daily. They are well worth the money spent and I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

The weight is good and the cooking is very even. I like the glass tops which allow you to see if the water is boiling yet without taking off the lid. I find that I use the large fry pan the most and the 8 quart stock pot. The chicken fryer is a bit heavy, but when you use both handles is not something that you can't handle on your own even when filled with oil. I often use the chicken fryer to make one dish meals and find it a real plus that it comes with the set. I have a full set of Le Creuset cookware that I've had for over 30 years, but as I get older I find it more and more difficult to lift the heavy pots. This set is every bit as good as far as end result, just as easy to use and clean and much lighter. Make sure that you clean up the outside of the pots and pans after each use with warm soapy water and your cookware will look as new as the day you took it out of the box. You can't go wrong with this set.

Heat distribution on this product is non existent. How a cook can burn a meal on a low setting is beyond my thinking. When I bought this item I thought the problem might be the inconsistancy of the electric range. The apartment complex saw that I had an old range and replaced it. Since food still burns I believe it is the product, not the range that is the problem. It is interesting that the T-Fal set I had used on the same range didn't burn food like this set does. As soon as I have a few bucks Kitchen Aid is gone in favor of T-Fal.

I absolutely love these pans. I use them everyday. They cook great----a little slow to heat up, but that is consistent with what I expected. Nothing sticks to these pans, and they are unbelievably easy to wash. I love the handles---most of the time they don't require a hot pad. Another feature that I love is that they are not rediculously heavy. I have arthritis in my hands, and some other pans that I looked at were extremely heavy.

So with that being said, this bunch of pots and pans transcends any other cookware set that I have owned. So, be assured this is a great value and I am an advocate for these pots and pans. I didn't pay attention and was unaware of these not being a good idea for the dishwasher. But, it is inconsequential... nothing sticks to them and it takes two seconds to clean them with a little soap and water. Good stuff and I very pleased.

I actually paid a lot more for this set than what it sells for on Amazon. I thought they were going to last me several years, I was wrong. Only after a few months' use I noticed the interior was heavily marked and a few scratches, even though I only use wood and nylon cooking utensils. I even bought a special cleaning product hoping it would "fix" some of the scarring, but no use. The outsides also discolored very quickly. Even the stock pot developed "rings" on the inside that would not go away. After just a year and a half, they ended up being donated to a thrift shop. Overall, rather disappointed in their performance. I could not recommend these for serious cooks. Ironically, a good friend and fellow cook has the same set in aluminum, and loves them!

I purchased these on sale for $140. The pots and pans seemed good, but two of them discolored on the exterior rather quickly. It seemed that the coating came off. I sent them back to Cuisinart and they said that I used an abrasive to clean the pots which is wrong. These pots are inferior; but others for the money.

Plus, Cuisinart does not honor their "Lifetime Warranty."

I recently purchased the Cuisinart Advantage Non-Stick 10 Piece Cookware Set in Red to replace a set (of another brand)I've had for 15+ years. The cookware heats nicely and appears to do a good job of cooking evenly, which I like. The only drawback is that, overall, I feel that the pieces are slightly lighter weight than I was hoping for.

I would reccommend for a first time set - definitley not a replacement; Serious foodies would be disappointed.

I have owned two "Analon" products for a little over a year. I am now removing them from my kitchen. They no longer have any nonstick qualities whatsoever.... and it's not because I overheated them. I would not advise anyone to purchase "Analon" pots or pans. They are a big fat rip-off as far as I am concerned. I paid big money for these products less than 18 months ago... OH WELL... I got this set as a wedding gift last spring. I waited over a year to write my review and it is a great one. I really wanted the Anolon Advanced Nonstick Hard-Anodized Aluminum 12-Piece Cookware Set instead for its silicone handles but given this set was almost half the price, I opted for this instead.

Pros - Like everyone said, it heats evenly and very sturdy. I love that it has a glass lid so you can see into the pot. Overall a great performance.

Cons - Again as others said, the lids/handles do get hot so I have to use a pot holder or gloves. I also wish that the pan had a more gradual transition up to the side vs a sharp one. It isn't a big deal but when I cook certain items, the angle is a bit annoying for flipping. The other set I originally wanted had this so perhaps I should have gone with that instead looking back (but at over $300, I wasn't sure who would get us that gift).

All in all, this is great. I also just ordered the clad set (but with the silicone handles - yay!) so looking forward to using that as well. Some foods just cook better with clad in my opinion.

This cookware is fantastic. Most recently, I sought to simmer some plastic tubing that I had use for brewing beer so as to loosen the grime inside it. Long story short, I forgot about it over high gas heat, all the water boiled out and the sauce pan sat over high heat for over 30 minutes with no water! The tubing had melted to the surface and I was prepared to toss the pan in the trash as ruined. I poured some water in the pan to cool it down and was able to completely remove the melted plastic tubing (just lifted right out!) and wipe the pan clean with no scrubbing. The non-stick was in perfect condition and I used it the next night. This is a QUALITY set of cookware. Do yourself a favor and get this. Anolon has a lifetime customer in my book.

We bought this product because Amazon said in their bullets "Dishwasher safe, but handwashing recommended." But in fact, the care instructions that come with the product are very specific NOT to put it in the dishwasher, that it completely VOIDS the warranty.

This is frustrating because no matter how hard we try, we cannot teach my mother, who lives with us, NOT to put pots and pans in the dishwasher! We bought these thinking we'd be OK-- she would not ruin them-- and now it's hopeless to even think about getting them all back in the box to ship them back (the care instructions were at the bottom). I could scream.

Got a simliar set almost thirteen years ago as a wedding present. It's been through a family a four, here are my pros and cons:

Pros: Heavy which means even heating and better temperature control.

Handles are sturdy, they're solid even after years of use

Stainless steel elements of the cookware are solid. They look as

good as the day that we got them. Clean up beautifully.

The size of the skillet is perfect for cooking large amounts of

food. Hard to find a reasonably priced skillet in this size. It's

been a favorite of mine. Steamer size is also good for family

style cooking amounts.

Cons: The surface is unforgiving. Do not, under any circumstances, put

it in the dishwasher. My mother in law did this with one of the

pans after I had it for a year and KILLED the non-stick surface.

This was quite an unhappy surprise, considering that I've purchased

cheap teflon skillets at Kmart that have performed better than

that! Your heating capabilities are limited also, because of it.

Clean up on the inside is easy. Cleanup on the outside can be a

challenge if something oily spills onto it and isn't immediately

and completely removed. Gooey, no problem. Baked on grease is the

issue.

Because of the handwashing issue, because of the limitations of the surface, those would be the reasons why I wouldn't buy this set again. It's sturdy, that's for sure. I would consider this a reasonable value for the money. However, if I'm going to invest further into my cookware, I'm going heavy stainless steel and will forevermore bypass the non-stick stuff. I want soemthing that I can slap into the dishwasher and use an SOS pad on it for quick cleanups. Gone are the days where I want to fuss with my kitchenware. I don't want to spend my time on it and I don't want one mistake with cleanup killing my investment.
